The Micro mill goes down in size from the mini mill. Rather than go micro I would go Sherline or Taig mills. I also have the Sherline and althoughit is a very fine mill for small stuff I find I use my mini mill more. Even with the plastic gears it takes better cuts and can handle larger projets. Still the mini mill is not a Bridgport. Bill

One other feature I forgot... There's a clear plastic retractable chuck shield, much like the one on the Mini Mill except it has a full length slot.
